To me, the most disappointing quality of a notebook (of course along with the speed, memory, size, heat, and everything ...) is the battery life. An hour or two for most notebooks, and possibly three for the ultra portable less powerful ones, is not enough for anything; to me a presentation or two would eat it.
A researcher at Stanford came up with an idea that extends the battery life to nearly 10 times. Silicon nanowires instead of the classical graphite material is the secret. For more read below please.
